After conversing with our partners, speakers, and community, we have decided to postpone SRE from Home, which we created as a community event to discuss how SREs are adapting to all-remote IT operations. We are postponing in support of a more critical conversation taking place in America and the world right now.

Catchpoint supports racial equality, denounces any form of police brutality, and believes that the voices of the Black community need to be heard on all available platforms. We see you, hear you, and are listening.

We are committed to bringing the entire community together for ‘SRE from Home’ as soon as it is appropriate. At this time, we do not have a new date in mind, rather we will listen to you, our peers, speakers, and partners and reschedule when the time is right.

If you are looking to join in the conversation and learn ways to be an ally, please consider attending, “The Rise of Black Communities in Tech”, an event exploring how to mobilize, influence, and ally, taking place on Friday, June 5th.

If you have registered for SRE from Home already, please stay tuned for a communication with the new date. If you have registered for a swag box, we hope you will enjoy it!

We stand in solidarity with Black Americans and those who oppose injustice. Catchpoint will be donating to the Southern Poverty Law Center to support the efforts we are seeing in our communities.

If you have any questions or feedback please send us an email: events@catchpoint.com.
